David Andrews (born 3 July 1952) is a writer and former Australian diplomat and economist. He was the chairman of Trio Capital Limited at the time of its involvement in the largest superannuation fund fraud in Australian history. He has written poetry and a blog where he has published excerpts from several planned novels under the pen name David Morisset. ==Early life and education== Andrews attended school in Riverstone, New South Wales. In 1971 he left Riverstone to study economics at the Australian National University in Canberra and joined the then Department of Foreign Affairs in 1975.
